Our agency is abstinence-based and does not employ tactics to teach teens and adults how to control their alcohol or drug use or to cut down which is commonly referred to as "Harm Reduction." Somerset Counseling Center is the preferred agency of choice in the Mid-Columbia. Day and evening programs are conducted. Each person's treatment program is fully individualized. Most insurance plans as well as medical coupons are accepted. A sliding fee scale is available. We are a preferred provider for Group Health. Somerset Counseling Center also offers off-site services at the following locations: Benton-Franklin Juvenile Justice Center, Twin Rivers Community Facility (Washington State Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration), Washington State Department of Social & Health Services (Division of Children & Family Services), Elijah Family Homes and My Friend's Place (Safe Harbor). Somerset Counseling Center is a State Certified agency.
Our comfortable state-of-the-art facility is located at 1305 Mansfield St., Suite 6, Richland, Washington, 99352. We're easy to find in the Medical District behind Bombers Drive-In (formally Tastee-Freez).

Somerset Counseling Center employs a team of dedicated and experienced licensed Chemical Dependency Professionals, supervised interns and support staff providing treatment and support for teens, adults and families. We are committed to providing cutting edge treatment using a motivational counseling approach and an evidence-based treatment curriculum (The Matrix Model).
